Q: What is TvSportOnline.com?

We show you all sports, free & live, we provide links for all major sporting events, movies, TV channels and more so you can watch trouble-free. We do not host links on site but provide reliable, safe and high-quality streams from external sources that you can watch on our site.

Q: How do I watch?

Go to www.tvsportonline.com , press the sport you want to see, then look down the list for the game you want to see. Press a link (link 1, for example), a new tab will open. You will need to wait until the advertisement counts down; once the ads gets to "0" seconds, the player will automatically start to play. (This advertisement is connected to the player and not under our control).

Q: Do I need to download anything to watch?

Rarely. Almost all feeds use Adobe Flash which is the Internet standard to view Internet videos. You must have this installed to view the streams/feeds.There are 3 players at present that need codec’s or toolbars installed to view these feeds: vshare, veetle & freedocast. They are 100% safe and all admins & mods use these regularly themselves.

Q: Is there a recommended browser for watching the streams?

Certain streams work better on certain browsers. Firefox is generally the best to use for this site, though Chrome, Opera and Safari are also good. Some streams do not work at all on Internet Explorer. Details are given for recommended browsers on each stream page. At present chrome does not work with Vshare feeds.

Q: Do I need a good Internet connection to watch?

The better your Internet connection, the better your stream. Streams have different bitrates (BR). The higher the BR, the higher the quality of video, but this may cause problems for people with low internet speeds or older PCs. We try to provide several different links, especially for popular sports, so people can find the best link for their net speed and PC. To watch on TvSportOnline, you will need a minimum of 1Mbps speed, any less and you may experience some jumping, freezing and lagging.

Q: What would you recommend to view the streams?

A PC or Mac with minimum 1GB Ram, I3 Core or Dual core with at least 2Mbps Broadband. To guarantee a good stream we would recommended 2GB Ram, i5 or Quad core & 2Mbps Broadband speed.

Q: Is Veetle safe?

Veetle is 100% safe; it is simply a codec which can be added to your computer, it is not a toolbar or anything that will make your PC unsafe. Veetle streams are always High Quality, it is worth installing this software/codec to see these feeds. Veetle now has a new feature for people with quality issues, look at the bottom right of the player, you will see a bright blue part with HD, pressing this will solve most picture problems on veetle.

Q: Is Vshare Safe?

It is safe, it is also a toolbar that gets added to your browser. Vshare until recently was not used, but now it is, the reason for this is that the streams have rarely any issues. The good thing is once installed you can remove the toolbar & still see the streams.

Q: Is freedocast safe?

Yes, freedocast never needed anything to download before but they are now using a new setup using a codec called “octo” to watch streams. You will need to install the codec to be able to see. This is 100% safe.

Q: It's a black screen. I can't see anything. What should I do?

This could be caused by several things:
  1. If the stream is for a live game, check the time to see if the game has started. Streams generally start around 10-30minutes before the start of the game but some feeds may only start a couple of minutes before live game is due to start. Refresh links on the main page and load the link again.
  2. Make sure you are using the recommended browser for that link.
  3. Certain streams may not load if you are using Ad Blockers or certain privacy programs. Disable them and load the link again.
  4. Some links require a specific player, such as TVU, sopcast or WMP. Links should be provided on the page.
  5. Streams usually come on within a few seconds but some streams take longer to load. Wait a minute.
  6. There may be a technical problem with the link. Inform the admins in chat.

Q: I am getting an error or the stream is stopping/buffering/freezing/lagging.

There may be several reasons:
  1. The stream may have a high bitrate which causes buffering on lower internet speeds or older PCs.
  2. Your PC may be not running at optimum levels. Close other windows and clear your cache (internet history).
  3. There may be a technical problem with the link. Inform the admins in chat.

Q: Is there anything I can do to help stop the buffering?

There are 2 things you can do.
  1. Download CCleanerhttp://www.ccleaner.com/install but do not run program.
  2. Once installed: Close all browsers and check for any opened tabs.
  3. Run CCleaner & make sure that you use the registry tool included. This will remove the registry items that are not in use.
This should solve all lag issues if your BB is working correctly.

Q: I am still getting buffering issues, any other ideas?

There are 2 things you can do.
  1. Something called ping can make any link have a problem. Ping simply means how fast you can get access/response to a website/server. The lower the ping you have the better. We use a website called http://www.speedtest.net/ to test our own ping. It can handle over 100Mb Broadband on tests. Do a speed test using the closest server (star) to you. You must stop all uploading/downloading, any streams, MSN/Messenger, chat programs, gaming, ANYTHING you are doing on the Internet before running the test.
  2. Once the test is finished, look at the "ping" ms. You are looking for a low ping, anything below 50 if fine, under 25 is great. 50-99 is okay, not perfect, if over 100, then you will need to contact your BB to get ping reduced, you can lose broadband speed overall we wont hide this, but you will get a far better stable line.
  3. After doing this reopen browser and you will find most issues are resolved.
LAST OPTION : If you are still getting high ping contact another BB supplier in your area to see if they can give you a better quality line. Once your with a BB supplier, they have speed you should get on their system, so as long as not below this, then they will say you have no issues. Do not listen to these excuses, get moving to a BB company who people in your area use without any issues, but ask them to do a ping-test using above links. That way you can see if better or worse service before changing.

Q: I was watching the stream without trouble and it suddenly stopped.

There are 2 main reasons for this:
  1. If you are watching a sports event and it is half-time or some other kind of interval, streams sometimes go off-line. It should start again automatically after the interval. If it doesn’t, refresh links on the main page and load again.
  2. We try to provide good quality reliable links but sometimes technical problems occur and streams go down. Refresh the link. If there is still a problem then return to the main page and refresh links and try an alternative link. Please inform admins in chat.

Q: How do I stop the ads?

The ads on screen are outside our control; they are used by free players. To close the ad, look to the top right, their is normally a small "x" , press this. If the ad doesn’t close you will need to wait up to 30 seconds then the video stream will show.

Q: How do I change the times to my own local time?

The website and game time is GMT. Click on 'Change to local time' next to the clock. This automatically changes the clock and all the game times to your local time wherever you are in the world.

Q: It says it's reached maximum streams for my country and I should buy a premium account.

This occasionally happens to some people on certain streams. This is an external site beyond our control. It is not necessary to purchase anything. This site is FREE! Refresh the link. If the stream stops again try an alternative link. If no alternative link is available it may be necessary to download UltraSurf . Follow the instructions.Ultrasurf will only work with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Unfortunately it is not compatible with Chrome. For Firefox an additional plugin is also required. The plugin link can be found on the link page.

Q: How do I get full screen?

Different streams use different players. For most players double click on the screen. For other players, the full screen function is usually bottom right of the player. Unfortunately, in some rare cases, there is no full screen option.

Q: It's asking for a password. Where is it?

If a password is required for a certain stream, it will always be found on the same page. Look above the screen. Sometimes there is a password option but no password is above the screen. This is a technical problem and means the stream is down. Inform admins in chat.

Q: How can I use chat?

  1. Chat is open to all who wish to register. It is free to register and only takes a few seconds. It can be a valuable tool for contacting admins with requests or problems and meeting others with the same interests.
  2. It is not necessary to join chat to watch streams and you can choose to hide chat at any time.
  3. We ask you to respect all users and all sports. We understand passions may sometimes run high but we reserve the right to delete or ultimately ban people who use offensive or abusive language.
  4. If you see people have already posted about problems with links, please refrain from adding to it. Chat can become busy and repeated postings may be considered spam.
  5. While we always like to hear your opinions and any problems, excessive complaining may try admin’s patience. Admin work hard to provide good, quality, reliable links, but external factors beyond our control may cause problems. Be patient and remember this site is free!
  6. Please do not send a private message (PM) to admins, especially during busy sports times, unless you ask and are granted permission in general chat. Unfortunately admins are very busy and cannot respond to all messages. Alternatively you may use the Contact Us link on the homepage.

Q: How do I turn off the clicking noise?

Under chat is a small speaker icon. Click that to mute the clicking noise.

Q: How do I change my colour, font or size?

Under the chat box there are various tools:
Bg: change your name colour and background colour.
T: change your font
11: change your font size
A: change your font colour

Q: What are the Chat Rules?

Immediate bans without warning will occur for
  1. racism
  2. bigotry
  3. links to other streaming sites.
Mods will issue warnings for:
  1. Excessive use of caps
  2. Spam
  3. Underlining
  4. Abuse of a personal nature
  5. Posts of a religious, political or sectarian nature which may cause offense

Q: I type in the chat but people can't see my posts. I think I was banned.

If you don't follow the simple rules of chat etiquette, a ban may result. If you feel your ban was unwarranted, or you have learned your lesson and promise never to break chat rules again, you may appeal to admins or mods, either through private message (PM) or the Contact us link on the homepage. Admins or mods may take pity and unban you. Unabanning is not an option for those who have posted links for other sites.
Occasionally there is a chatango bug which means although the member has not been banned, others cannot see their posts. This is beyond our control. Please contact chatango directly.
